107 days I have left you all alone. . .
I am sorry but life decided to take me for a journey and one that I needed two hands to hold on with. . .
But I am back . . .
Back at Alcorn . . .
Back to tennis . . .
And back to writing . . .
All with a new mind, charisma and goal. . . .
Welcome back to the new and improved "Where in the world is Zoe", I am your host, Zoe Crimmel. I am a 20-year-old, almost 21-year-old, without any degrees, yet! But experiences that I have been lucky to have, hold, and share. Now, technically, I have had this blog for a while, it has grown with me, mourned with me, and held me through everything life has thrown at me these past few years. From day one, I have had so many incredible people who have followed and supported me through it all and I am beyond thankful! I am glad to be back and rolling with this blog, and have another chance to use this place as somewhere I get to update you all with my adventures, thoughts, and a couple of motivational quotes. Now let's get to it!

I have just started my Junior year at Alcorn State University, a small D1 school down in Mississippi. For my football fans, a fun fact it was the school Steve McNair played at from 1991-1994 before he went pro. For everyone else, this is the oldest HBCU land-grant institution in the US. I know, kinda cool! Now I know Junior means year 3, not for me. This is my fourth semester, but after two extra summers of classes, I am a junior plus a class or two. My goal is to graduate with my Bachelor's in Agriculture Environmental Sciences in 3 years, not 4. I know not the easiest task, but something I am willing to grind through. After this I am hoping to do my master's while still under scholarship. I play tennis for the team, but unfortunately, due to a shoulder injury, I had to redshirt last season. But good news, I am almost back to 100% and playing my heart out again. Tennis has always been a love of mine, or an addiction, depending on who you ask! But truthfully, I play for my mom. It was her "thing" and, naturally, it became my thing. Unfortunately, we lost her to breast cancer in August 2024, a little over a year ago now, and while she isn't here to cheer me on physically, the court has become the place I feel closest to her. Now, I have a new cheerleader, my boyfriend. If you met him, you would look at me and tell me, "Your mom sent him," and trust me, I've heard it plenty of times. My guardian angel sent me an angel.
Ok, enough about me, I don't want to bore you all! I am so excited to start posting, and I will soon, after this one, trust me, already have a couple of posts in the works that I am super excited to share with you all! I have opened comments and I would love to hear all of your guys' thoughts and ideas, and suggestions. . .

love
